ErgoFluid Mug - Symbiosis of Elements
Wheel-thrown from black porcelain, the exterior is left unglazed to highlight its raw, rock-like texture. The chattering technique creates organic patterns across the surface, while the base reveals layered details that mimic the natural split of stone.
The handle is its opposite—smooth, glossy, and bright white. Carved by hand from a single block of porcelain, it takes shape around my hand, feeling almost like liquid against the rough exterior.
The porcelain is fired to a high temperature, making it non-porous.
Approx. volume: 300ml
Please note: for Ergofluid cups with a handle, it is normal for the rim to not be perfectly round. During glaze firing, porcelain becomes slightly soft at peak temperature, and the weight and tension of the handle can gently pull the rim into a more oval shape.
This is a functional handmade ceramic object and should be hand-washed and handled with care.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination country.
